Our Grants
Our grants process invites departments and individuals from across the Beaumont Hospital campus to apply to the Foundation for our financial support for projects which enhance the quality of patient care Beaumont Hospital can provide to its public.
In early autumn, the Foundation puts out a hospital-wide call for applications. These are assessed by our board and those who are successful are notified in early December. The Foundation has funded hundreds of projects ranging from the large scale refurbishment of St Claire's Ward, the purchase of hoists to accommodate moving bed-bound patients to the production of a information booklet for children which explains the roles of different staff working within the hospital.
The substantial funds which we committ to these projects yearly are raised through the generosity of our supporters and are used to improve the patient care experience which is provided by the staff of Beaumont Hospital.
